Eating Disorders

The vast majority of eating disorders fall into one of two categories: anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Anorexia is characterized by a refusal to maintain a healthy body weight, a strong fear of gaining weight, and body dysmorphism. Bulimia is characterized by recurrent episodes of binge eating, and may or may not include concurrent purging.
